THE HEATING PLATE ON THIS ITEM IS ONLY ABOUT 2-3/4" AND WE DO NOT RECOMMEND USING IT AS A CANDLE WARMER. If you are looking for an item that can be used as both an electric burner and a candle warmer, we suggest the Combo Warmer/Burners which have a larger heating plate.
